Ashton closed his eyes keeping her close in his arms, "I know it's hard Kate. It was hard for me when I was the only male left in my village, with no others to ever talk to. For the longest time, I had even thought I was the only one left. I know it's hard." He said to her then he gently kissed her on her neck, "Please come with me."

kate said "im not sure if i can do it its so hard i feel so weak and helpless"

Ashton walked into the room then he went over to Kate and softly hugged her, "Kate, we need to go to the funeral pyre. We are sending your father off." He said to her gently holding and caressing her form in his arms.

a guard came in and said "your highness all the fatal ijured are being taken care of and the dead tooken to be buried do you want t us to leave the king so the princess can see him before the royal burning burieal

Ashton nodded to the nurse, "I'm sure that there's nothing wrong with her, but you can check on her." He said to the nurse then he softly took Sara's hand willing her to stay with him.

the nure said "im sure she has your highness but im sure she wasnt pregnant at the time also do you want me to examine your other mate ou had braught in"

Ashton smiled at Sara then he listened to the nurse talk, "I know that she will be fine.She's survived worse than this." She said to the nurse then he gently ran a hand along Sara's arm and then her belly.

the nurse said "here health is improving and her pups are fine but shes still not out the woods yet sure"

After Kate fell asleep, Ashton went to the medical wing then he sat down next to Sara. I'm so sorry I left you alone Sara. I'm so sorry." He said to her before he hugged her lightly.
